Board Certified Behavior Analyst

At North Shore Pediatric Therapy in Des Plaines, IL, is looking for a BCBA in training to join our team. In this role, you will work as a Registered Behavior Technician, while also assisting the Clinical Director with unrestricted supervision activities for a caseload of clients. You must currently be enrolled in a graduate-level ABA course and working towards your BCBA certification. Why North Shore Pediatric Therapy? You are enrolled or completed in graduate-level ABA courses, and actively working towards certification as a BCBA You have 1 year experience of conducting ABA therapy with clients with Autism Those who know you describe you as having unflappable patience and compassion . Autism affects each person in diverse ways, and you will need to provide consistent, calm care and follow-up. You have an active RBT certification with the BACB You have a background in teaching, assisting, counseling, or coaching. You are comfortable working in a fast pace environment You have basic computer skills and pick up new technology quickly. What does a Assistant Clinical Coordinator / BCBA apprentice do? The Assistant Clinical Coordinator is responsible for assisting the BCBA/Clinic Director team with unrestricted supervision activities for a caseload of clients. In addition to this responsibility, the ACC is required to maintain a role as a Behavior Therapist for approximately half the hours. The ACC will lead Behavior Therapist/Registered Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) training classes for onboarding and ongoing training.
