TEN-M Technical Editor/Writer

Technical Editor Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of a team that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. We are seeking a Technical Editor join our team in support of the Army TEN-M program. This is a remote position. The Technical Writer: Develops, edits, and or maintains technical documents to support full enterprise IT management. Writes and edits technical documentation for all the project's hardware and software to include installation, configuration, how-to documentation, and transition documentation. Prepares, reviews, revises, and maintains technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation. Provides advice for the development of the process of crafting and refining ideas, cultivating sources, and developing highly complex and articulate articles. Collaborates closely with technical teams to deliver appropriate and highly complex content. Identifies and modifies complex contextual errors, reorganizing content, and editing graphics, tables, and illustrations. Produces implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities, providing data definition and data flow documentation and formatting technical publications. Basic Qualifications: Education - BS/BA Degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required Experience – 5-10 years of related experience Security Clearance - Active Secret Clearance desired Location – Remote within the US Travel: This position requires 10% - 25% travel

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
