Associate Attorney

Overview Lighthouse Legal is an estate planning and elder law firm in Blue Springs. We help families plan for the future, guide them through probate after a loss, and stand up for people who can no longer speak for themselves. The work matters, and we treat our clients like family. Responsibilities You will draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. You will guide clients through the Missouri probate process from opening the estate to final distribution. You will handle guardianship and conservatorship matters, including petitions and court hearings. You will meet with clients directly, many of them older or grieving, and explain the law in plain words they can actually use. Qualifications You are licensed to practice law in Missouri, or eligible and sitting for the bar soon. We are open on years of experience. A new attorney willing to learn and a seasoned lawyer ready to carry a caseload will both get a real look. What matters more is that you are careful with details, warm with people, and able to write clearly. Estate planning, probate, or elder law experience is a plus, not a requirement.
