Medical Assistant Phlebotomist

Responsibilities: - Phlebotomy (blood draws) of patients - Injections (testosterone, Gonadorelin, B12, and other vitamins) - Provide medical administrative support to healthcare professionals - Assist with patient check-in, including verifying personal information and insurance details - Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies - Take and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse - Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing - Assist with coding and billing procedures Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of a medical assistant training program - Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology - Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred - Strong customer service and communication skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Proficiency in basic computer skills and electronic health record systems - Current certification in basic life support (BLS) - Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
