Indy West Christian School is seeking a dedicated, mature Christian individual to join our team as a Full-Time Paraprofessional. This role provides classroom support, student supervision, and assistance to teachers while helping create a Christ-centered environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and spiritually. The ideal candidate has a heart for serving children, a commitment to Christian education, and a desire to support the mission of the school. Professional Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED required.First Aid/CPR certification required.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Previous experience working with children preferred.Spiritual and Personal Qualifications:Personal relationship with Jesus Christ.Support the school Statement of Faith and Lifestyle Statement.Active member of an evangelical church.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist teachers with classroom activities and learning support.Supervise and positively interact with students throughout the school day.Monitor students while teachers work with individuals or small groups.Support lunch, recess, and other supervisory duties.Provide coverage for before-school or after-school care programs.Maintain confidentiality and participate in professional development.Uphold confidentiality and follow the Matthew 18 Principle in relationshipsPerform other duties as assigned.
