Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented  Part-Time Bookkeeper / General Accounting professional to support our day-to-day accounting needs.

This is a hands-on position working directly with company leadership in a small-business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Bank and account reconciliations
• General ledger maintenance
• Routine bookkeeping and general accounting
• Assist with monthly financial close
• Prepare basic financial reports
• Prepare 1099s
• Maintain accurate accounting records
• Assist with routine accounting and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications 

Required:

• Solid bookkeeping and general accounting knowledge
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

Preferred:

• Experience with an ERP/accounting system
• Experience working in a small-business environment
• Familiarity with inventory or distribution accounting
