Job Summary

The Inside Sales Representative supports sales growth by building and maintaining customer relationships, coordinating the sale of company products and services, and providing responsive customer service. This position prepares quotes, processes customer requests, tracks and reports sales activity, and coordinates with internal departments and external vendors to meet customer needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Provide professional and courteous service before, during, and after each sale through telephone, email, electronic communication, and in-person interactions with walk-in customers.

· Prepare quotes, contracts, and responses for current and prospective customers.

· Respond promptly and accurately to customer orders and quotation requests received directly or through outside sales representatives.

· Coordinate purchase orders and customer service needs with other departments to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.

· Maintain accurate sales information and track, investigate, and report sales activity and customer concerns.

· Communicate sales issues, customer concerns, and unresolved requests to the Sales Manager.

· Manage competing priorities while meeting customer and internal deadlines.

· Follow company policies and procedures while demonstrating safety, customer focus, teamwork, and integrity.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

· Three to five years of experience in the sheet metal or HVAC industry preferred.

· Demonstrated success in customer acquisition, retention, and relationship development.

· Strong customer service, organizational, communication, and follow-through skills.

· Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Outlook email and calendaring, and internet applications.

· Willingness to learn the company’s products, services, and sales processes.
