This is an excellent opportunity for nurses with strong telemetry skills who are comfortable working in a fast-paced acute-care environment.

Assignment Details:

• Profession: Registered Nurse (RN)

• Specialty: Medical-Surgical / Telemetry

• Unit: Adult Med/Surg Telemetry

• Location: Syracuse, NY

• Positions Available: 2

• Assignment Length: 17 Weeks

• Shift: Nights

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

• Holiday Requirement: Some holidays
  

Requirements:

• Active NY RN license

• BLS certification required and must be eligible for recertification

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute-care experience within the past 2 years

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred

• Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills required

• Ability to start IVs and draw labs

• EPIC experience preferred

• Level I or Level II trauma hospital experience highly preferred

• Experience in a hospital of similar or greater size and acuity preferred

• Strong patient assessment and acute-care nursing skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to provide care with minimal orientation and supervision

• Must be flexible with scheduling; excessive time off and fixed days of the week cannot be accommodated

• Must meet all required health clearance, drug screening, background check, and employment eligibility requirements
