Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Nurse Practitioner (NP) – PMHNP Turning Point is seeking a full‑time Psychiatric‑Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to work in the outpatient clinic. The NP will collaborate with the Medical Director, Clinical Staff, and Nursing Staff to provide comprehensive mental health assessments, establish diagnoses, prescribe treatments, and manage care regimens. This is a 40‑hour work week position, one weekend per month with a flexible schedule. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and establish diagnoses. Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe appropriate medications and therapies. Coordinate and manage care with a designated physician and multidisciplinary team. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education. Qualifications Master of Science in Nursing with certification as a PMHNP or PMHCNS from an accredited board (ANCC, AANP). Licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia. Minimum 5 years of experience in psychiatric or chemical dependency nursing. Proficiency in DSM‑5 and biopsychosocial assessment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
