Customer Service Support Representative

Company Description: John W. Stone Oil Distributor, LLC is the local leader in dockside, mid-streaming, and offshore fueling along the Mississippi River, from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Houston, Texas, and into the Gulf of Mexico.Position: Customer Service Support Representative (CSSR)Reports To: Customer Service SupervisorWorksite: The facility is in Houston, Texas (Houston Ship Channel Area). The company’s headquarters is in Gretna, Louisiana. (The greater New Orleans area).Work Schedule: 8am to 5pm, Monday-Friday. Some overtime will be required on an as needed basis.Essential Job Duties:Provides proactive and extraordinary service to all external and internal customers. This responsibility includes always maintaining a professional and positive attitude.Creatively and efficiently solve customer issues.Proactively manages customer stock transfer orders (STO’s).Professionally handle all incoming calls, meeting or exceeding the Customer Service expectations and metrics that are established for the department.Handles, resolves, and takes ownership of all internal and external customer problems.Identify the root causes of problems and takes corrective action. Problems are closed with calls to customers to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.General knowledge of the product line and pricing schedules.Efficiently communicate with production team on in-house inventory, volumes, and levels.Entering and tracking customer orders in the system.Supports CSR’s with customer invoicing and customer portal processing.Responsible for Tote Tank trackingPerforms all other responsibilities as may be assigned by management.Other duties that may be requested by Director, Supervisor or Executive Management as neededThis job description may not be inclusive of all assigned duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the job described, and may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of the employer.Physical Requirements: All offers of employment are conditioned on passing a drug screen and a fit-for-duty physical examination.John W.
