Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher

Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher Southern Home Services is a residential HVAC, plumbing and electrical company that acquires, owns, and operates businesses across the United States. We are seeking a customer service professional to join our growing team and become an integral part of our company's future. Responsibilities Answer incoming customer requests and inquiries in a professional and friendly manner. Act as a liaison between customers, technicians, salespersons, and management. Schedule service and routine maintenance appointments. Maintain and update customer records based on interactions. Process invoice payments. Provide information about products and services. Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues and concerns. Develop and maintain a knowledge base of evolving products and services that benefit our customers. Participate in in‑house training on products, services, and office software required to fulfill this position. Additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications $18 - $22 per hour Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (rotating weekends) Minimum of one year administrative or customer service experience in an office setting Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Experience with Service Titan is a plus Ability to cultivate strong rapport with customers and co‑workers Skilled at organizing, prioritizing, and managing time effectively to see tasks through to completion Work well independently and with integrity in a structured yet relaxed environment Enjoy patiently and empathetically helping others Excellent written and verbal communication skills Physical Requirements Perform work while sitting and/or standing at an individual workstation or office Communicate verbally via phone or other communication device Ability to stand, walk, and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone Use hands to type, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms Occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 10 pounds Work is usually performed in an indoor office environment Southern Home Services will make reasonable accommodations to allow an employee to perform the essential functions of the job.
