Job Description As a Handyman for Bax Homeworks in Nashville, you will be a key player in our mission to provide comprehensive home maintenance and repair services. You will travel to various residential job sites to perform a variety of tasks, ensuring each project is completed with a high level of quality and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Executing a wide range of repairs, installations, and general maintenance tasks. Performing basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and drywall repairs. Installing and repairing fixtures, such as lighting, faucets, and doors. Painting, patching, and other cosmetic improvements. Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues to determine the best course of action. Communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Managing and prioritizing multiple work orders to ensure timely completion. Managing customer invoices to make sure that the company is paid for services provided Receive incoming calls from customers Qualifications To be a successful Handyman at Bax Homeworks, you should possess a strong work ethic, a diverse skill set, and a passion for problem-solving. We require: Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar skilled trades role. A strong working knowledge of various maintenance and repair tasks, including basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and interact professionally with clients. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Physical stamina and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
