Overview:

Southern Physical Therapy Clinic is experiencing growth and is now hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist for an Outpatient Clinic with a pediatrics focus in Picayune, MS . While full-time is preferred, candidates with part-time or PRN availability will also be considered.

Caseload / Patient Population:

• The Occupational Therapist will manage a caseload that includes general orthopedics , neurological cases , and hand and upper extremity cases . However, the primary focus will be on pediatric patients .
• This is a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting that includes Occupational Therapy (OT) , Physical Therapy (PT) , and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) .
• Full-time OTs typically complete 45-55 patient visits per week .

Work Schedule:

• Full-time position working Monday - Friday.
• No weekends or holidays required.
• The work schedule can be flexible based on the needs of the candidate.
• Clinic hours:
  • Monday - Thursday: 7 am - 6 pm
  • Friday: 7 am - 12 pm

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive hourly rate starting around $32 per hour for new graduates, with increases based on experience.

Job Requirements:

1. Eligible for Mississippi state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
2. New graduate OTs are encouraged to apply – mentorship and training are available.
3. Full-time availability is preferred. Candidates with part-time or PRN availability (at least 16 hours and two weekdays) will also be considered.
