About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President to join its India and South Asia practice. The successful candidate will be a key member of the team, responsible for servicing clients across various sectors, including energy, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, artificial intelligence, technology, agriculture, logistics, and biotechnology. This role demands a deep understanding of India's political and commercial dynamics, technology ecosystem, and regional relationships in West Asia and the broader Asia-Pacific. The Vice President will serve as the lead conduit for client engagement, conduct in-depth industry and political research, and draft a range of written products for both external and internal use. Strong leadership, business writing, and the ability to perform under pressure are essential, as is the capacity to mentor junior staff and foster a strong teamwork ethos. Candidates for the Vice President position should have a BA or equivalent experience related to India/Asia-Pacific economic, political, and policy issues, with 6-7 years' of prior work experience, preferably in a client-servicing industry. The role requires superb oral briefing, outstanding research, analytical, and writing skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft applications. An MA or equivalent experience, up to 8 years' of relevant work experience, and a strong professional network in South Asia are desirable. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with a can-do attitude, and a proactive approach to exploring new technologies, including artificial intelligence. The position also involves occasional business development support and the ability to track market and industry developments impacting client equities.
