Graphic Designer

Graphic Designer IWalsworth, one of the top high school yearbook companies and the 27th largest printer in the U.S., is seeking a Graphic Designer in their Overland Park office to fill a temporary opening for approximately 12 weeks, beginning around October 2026. We offer a highly focused, dynamic, collaborative team environment and are looking for a talented designer to join our Marketing team.This hourly, non-exempt role is 100% on-site in our Overland Park office with an 8 am - 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday schedule. This Graphic Designer reports to our Graphic Design Manager. There may be some flexibility on work location or schedule for the temporary role after an initial training period.ResponsibilitiesCreativity in concepting and presenting compelling visual designs with a goal to educate, motivate and engage customers, prospects and internal departments.Responsible for designing marketing materials and ensuring they are on brand for the Corporate, Yearbook or Commercial divisions.Collaborates internally as well as with project requestors to conceptualize and execute creative solutions that can be translated across various platforms such as print, digital and experiential.Ability to work on multiple design projects simultaneously and to meet agreed-upon deadlines.Responsible for supporting other designers and working independently to complete all projects.ExperienceTwo-plus years of work experience, preferably within a marketing groupExperience using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft office on MacStrong creative, organizational, problem solving and time-management skillsExperience in print and digital design; manufacturing and production experience a plusHTML and web design experience a plusProduct photography experience a plusFamiliarity with yearbook and/or Walsworth is a plusMinimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in a Creative Arts related field or a related function ORAssociate degree in a Creative Arts related field and 2 years of experience in Graphic Design or a related function ORHigh School Diploma or GED and six years' experience in Graphic Design or a related functionAbility to work 100% on-site at our Walsworth - Overland Park office for 12 weeks with the possibility of hybrid work (1-2 days remote per week) following initial training periodMust be able to pass a standard, pre-employment drug screen, background check and social media screeningMust hold U.S. work authorization (Please note, Walsworth does not offer employment sponsorship.)Walsworth is an equal opportunity employer.
