OPPORTUNITY | Associate Attorney Our Dallas/Fort Worth office seeks a well‑rounded, highly‑motivated, experienced Associate Attorney with two to five years of insurance defense or similar litigation experience. Must be licensed to practice in Texas. Additional court admissions would be a plus. This is an exceptional opportunity to handle a variety of litigation matters in state and federal courts with a forward‑thinking firm. SKILLS and ABILITIES Proactively work independently and as part of a team Demonstrate strong legal research and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail with superb organization and prioritization skills Ability to move from case to case Knowledge of both state and federal court procedures Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and navigating the internet

RESPONSIBILITIES

Draft, prepare and handle pleadings, motions, orders and legal memoranda Draft and respond to written discovery and dispositive motions Conduct legal research competently and with proficiency Prepare and take depositions of parties and witnesses Review client documents and draft case evaluations Participate in mediations and court appearances Interact directly with clients, claim professionals, and opposing counsel Our Firm provides an experienced support staff, current technology, ongoing training, and full‑time IT and marketing departments.
