We are currently working with RadFirst at Ascension Alexian Brothers hospital in Elk Grove Village, IL. They are seeking some ongoing Radiology locum coverage. Level 2 Trauma

Diagnostic Radiology:
• Coverage needed starting ASAP (flexible)
• Hours: 7:30a 3:30p
• Primary reading Diagnostic Rad with IR Procedures
• Reads include: DX Reads, including plain films, CTs, MRIs
• Occasional CTP (if a candidate does not read profusions, we will ensure they are paired with someone who does, while also encouraging openness to training in this area)
• Light IR procedures, some days may have up to 6, while others may have none
• Procedures: Myelograms, Lumbar punctures (when done with fluoroscopic guidance), Retrograde urethrograms, Arthrograms, Joint injections (when done with fluoroscopic guidance)
• All GI fluoroscopy cases: Video swallows (also known as modified barium swallow studies), Upper GI series, Lower GI series (barium enemas), Full contrast lower GI studies, & Air contrast (double-contrast) lower GI studies
• Efficiency metrics:
- roughly 70-80 reads per 8 hr period
- stroke alerts: 20 mins
- ED stats 30-60 mins
- inpatient stats 60 mins
- critical results - inpatient TAT - outpatient TAT
