Pay Rate ##### DO NOT EXCEED MAX AGENCY BILL RATE ##### 3 years Experience in role. This position will plan and provide, at minimum costs, the necessary materials to manufacture sale able products. Negotiate for and procure a variety of assigned commodities including those which are a non-standard or of a technical nature. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Negotiate prices, terms, delivery, and conditions of purchase from suppliers for a variety of assigned commodities.
• Implement controls to follow up purchase order, issue change notices, and catalog suppliers' prices and quotations in an efficient manner.
• Request and analyze bids and approve suppliers.
• Coordinate communication between engineering, operating departments and suppliers.
• Prepare Purchasing Department reports and reviews.

Bachelors degree in Business Admin, Materials Planning or related field with 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment required. Other duties will include:

• Support the timely availability and procurement of required materials within the current inventory guidelines by placing POs on time and expediting delivery.
• Locate and select new and alternate sources of supply to meet the production requirements of the plant.
• Establish and maintain effective contacts and working relationships with vendors and suppliers for all necessary information.
• Award and administer purchase orders and agreements in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
• Develop, coordinate, and manage alliances with key suppliers.
• Work with facility design engineers to support significant manufacturing project builds.
• Perform other related activities and special projects as assigned.
• Support corporate commodity managers on cost reduction programs.
• Support supplier quality team through participation in the APQP/PPAP qualification process.
• Support cycle counts for specific brands and / or MRO products and help support annual physical inventory.
