YOUR LIFE AS A PRIVATE CAREGIVER

We offer this part-time caregiving position with flexible hours based upon the needs of our residents. As a Private Caregiver, you have the rewarding job of helping individual seniors in our community live as fully and independently as possible while remaining in the places they love. Duties may include (but not limited to)

• Providing companionship
• Providing the assistance needed in activities of daily living
• Providing emotional support, patience and reassurance to residents
• Creating a positive, calm, and engaging environment for those acclimating to a new home setting
• Provide basic education and reminders to residents on safe movement, use of assistive devices and self-care plans.
• Provide medication reminders
• Assist with grooming, dressing or eating.
• Every bit of direct care you provide meets and exceeds expectations, and you feel good being a light in the lives of these individual seniors!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Previous caregiving experience
• A heart for serving seniors

CNA certification is preferred but not required. Experience with dementia or geriatrics would be beneficial for you in this role. If you can meet these requirements and perform this part-time job as described above, we would be happy to schedule an interview to discuss a future at Legacy Village!
