We're opening a new Toddler classroom and are looking for a caring and energetic Toddler Assistant Teacher to join the teaching team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a classroom from the very beginning, helping create a warm, engaging environment where toddlers can explore, build independence, develop language, and form their first friendships. What You'll Do Partner with the Lead Teacher to create a nurturing and engaging Toddler classroom Support daily learning activities, play, art, music, sensory experiences, and outdoor time Encourage language, social-emotional, physical, and cognitive development Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, and classroom transitions Provide attentive supervision and positive guidance Help establish consistent routines as our new classroom grows Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming learning environment Build positive relationships with children and families Follow applicable New York City childcare requirements Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Previous experience working with children preferred Toddler, daycare, preschool, or childcare experience is a plus Patient, dependable, nurturing, and energetic Strong communication and teamwork skills Must meet applicable New York City childcare requirements What We Offer $18–$20 per hour Full-time Monday–Friday schedule Opportunity to help launch a brand-new Toddler classroom Paid training and professional development Employee childcare discount Supportive leadership and collaborative teaching team Opportunities for professional growth #J-18808-Ljbffr The Learning Experience
