Join Our Hospitalist Team

We are looking for additional Hospitalists to become part of our esteemed hospital medicine team at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, New York. Opportunity Highlights:

• Evening Shifts: 2 PM - 12 AM
• Work Schedule: 4 shifts of 10 hours each per week
• Weekend Requirements: 2 weekends per month
• ICU: Closed ICU
• Environment: Collaborative and team-oriented
• Team Composition: Committed group of physicians and advanced practitioners

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharge planning.
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to create and execute patient care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide prompt interventions to stabilize patients.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is required.
• A valid New York State license and DEA registration.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits:

We provide a comprehensive salary and benefits package, which includes:

• Competitive Salary: Starting at $270,400, with opportunities for additional earnings through productivity.
