As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Unit in Shepherdsville, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location. Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefront areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and high‑traffic areas to help deter unauthorized access, support crowd flow, and assist visitors, customers, and staff as needed. Report maintenance concerns, hazards, policy violations, and/or operational issues observed during patrols to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
