As a Security Officer Patrol and Response in Shepherdsville, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. In a fast-moving environment, you will bring reliability, agility, teamwork, and integrity to every shift while helping create a welcoming experience for employees and visitors.

DayTimeThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, operational disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and delivery drivers, and assist with access control processes, visitor directions, and/or credential checks as required by the site.
- Observe site conditions and report suspicious activity, unsecured areas, damaged gates or fencing, and/or other unusual conditions to the appropriate contact.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
