Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in a full-service, acute-care hospital located in Martinsville, Virginia. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care across all age groups on a night shift schedule. The role offers guaranteed weekly hours with a focus on delivering compassionate, professional patient care in a busy ER environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as an RN in Virginia; ACLS, BLS, CPI/Handle with Care, NIH, PALS or ENPC certifications; 0+ years of emergency nursing experience preferred, with 1-2 years ideally preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with common diagnoses such as Chest Pain, Congestive Heart Failure, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Psychiatric conditions; professional, positive, compassionate, and team-oriented personality fit
• Additional Information: This role involves serving a diverse patient population of all ages with a patient ratio of approximately 1:5 in a 34-bed emergency department. The position may require float coverage as needed and is part of an emergency department committed to delivering exceptional care. The facility requires consent for drug screening and completion of a Criminal Questionnaire/Consent Form prior to start.
