Position Overview As a Senior Tax Strategy Advisor, you will be an essential part of a dynamic team, collaborating closely with Financial Advisors to create robust financial strategies aimed at reducing clients' tax liabilities. You will take a proactive approach in managing clients' tax situations year-round, offering timely tax projections that guide their financial decisions long before the preparation of their final tax returns. Key Responsibilities Analyze client tax liabilities to identify opportunities for optimization. Prepare accurate tax projections throughout the year. Prepare and file comprehensive tax returns for diverse client portfolios. Deliver impactful presentations to clients and prospective clients. Develop and nurture a strong client base through personal engagement. Market and promote tailored tax planning solutions. Participate in meetings and ongoing education sessions to stay current. Adopt a holistic mindset while working alongside financial professionals to service high-net-worth clients. Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and standards. Advocate for clients in matters involving the IRS and state revenue departments. Complete other tasks as assigned to support team objectives. Qualifications Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet stringent deadlines. Strong sense of accountability and professionalism. Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Demonstrates leadership qualities and a strong work ethic. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years' experience in preparing and reviewing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts. Current Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant license. Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) required. Experience with CCH Axcess Software is preferred.
