Auto Underwriter, Senior BuyerThe Auto Underwriter, Senior Buyer is a dealer representative that partners with automotive dealerships to deliver financing solutions that help customers move forward. This role combines relationship management, credit decision-making, negotiation, and business development in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role comes from building strong partnerships, communicating effectively, making confident decisions, and delivering solutions that create value for both customers and dealership partners.In The RoleBuild and maintain strong relationships with dealership partners in an assigned marketCommunicate regularly with dealerships to provide exceptional service and identify opportunities for growthReview and evaluate financing applications, making sound credit decisions within established guidelinesNegotiate and secure approved business while delivering a positive partner experienceAnalyze customer credit and financial information to assess creditworthiness and identify potential fraud risksEnsure compliance with all company policies, underwriting standards, and applicable regulationsUtilize performance metrics and market insights to improve results and drive business growthCollaborate with internal teams and provide guidance to less experienced team members as neededRequirementsHigh School Diploma or GEDStrong communication and relationship-building skillsConfidence in making decisions and exercising sound judgmentAbility to build rapport quickly and influence positive outcomesCustomer-focused with a solutions-oriented mindsetStrong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple prioritiesAdaptable, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated integrity, accountability, and attention to detailPreferred:Experience in sales, customer service, relationship management, financial services, banking, automotive, or other customer-facing rolesExperience building and maintaining business partnershipsExperience using data, metrics, or business insights to drive resultsLocation: On site in Tempe, AZSchedule: Hours of operation are Monday-Saturday 6a-8p AZ time (7a-9p Daylight Savings time).
