Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluations to identify patients' physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that encompass a range of therapeutic techniques to address orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical care and sports injuries.
• Implement and modify treatment protocols based on patient progress and changing needs, including hands-on manual therapy techniques.
• Set measurable objectives to track the effectiveness of care and document treatment outcomes accurately in accordance with clinic policies.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families, empowering them with knowledge to facilitate recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Keep current on industry trends and best practices in physical therapy to consistently enhance treatment approaches and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adults facing orthopedic challenges, including acute injuries from sports, chronic pain conditions, and those recovering from orthopedic surgeries. Your empathetic approach will be essential in fostering a trusting relationship with patients as they work towards recovery. Engaging effectively with each patient, you will adapt treatment methodologies that promote optimal healing.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of California, possessing an active license.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree is preferred.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, ideally with exposure to a variety of rehabilitation cases.
• Proven proficiency in therapeutic methodologies, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and functional movement assessments.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate patients effectively and foster a collaborative care environment.
• Capacity to work well within a team, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork to improve the standard of care provided.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome applicants with 2 years of experience, we also encourage new graduates with clinical rotations in orthopedic settings to apply. Candidates with advanced certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques or experience with pain management strategies will be favored.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary in the range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
