Work Environment

The working conditions at our rehabilitation center are collaborative and supportive, allowing for meaningful engagement between staff and patients. The facility is designed not only for treatment but also for rehabilitation experience, featuring spacious therapy areas equipped with the latest tools for assessment and intervention. You will work on-site Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet dynamic work life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess individual patient needs, tailoring therapy goals specific to their rehabilitation journey.
• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions, maintaining a patient load of one treatment per hour to provide focused and personalized care.
• Create evidence-based treatment plans utilizing diverse therapeutic techniques, ensuring each patient receives care that is both effective and appropriate.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to address patients' musculoskeletal conditions, improve mobility, and reduce pain.
• Design and implement exercise regimens that enhance strength, flexibility, and endurance, maximizing recovery potential.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to ensure holistic and cohesive patient care.
• Monitor patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as required, and maintaining comprehensive records of therapy sessions.
• Educate patients on preventive measures and self-management strategies, particularly focusing on non-surgical alternatives to improve outcomes.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering a positive outlook towards rehabilitation.
• Document all services provided with precision to maintain patient care records in alignment with regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve primarily consist of individuals with orthopedic conditions seeking rehabilitation through our outpatient services. Many of our clients are covered by private insurance, allowing for a wide array of therapy approaches designed to restore independence, enhance quality of life, and achieve optimal physical function.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapist license in California, with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of rehabilitation protocols.
• Demonstrated capability in designing and executing customized exercise programs based on individual assessments.
• Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to streamline documentation processes.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years of experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings. Experience with tailoring treatment plans to individual needs, as well as expertise in performance enhancement, mobility restoration, and chronic pain management, will be valuable in ensuring successful patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
