Job Description

Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler, working on the first shift from Monday to Friday, 6AM to 2:30PM. You will be part of a production line dedicated to building complex Linear motors for the automation industry, following strict manufacturing policies and procedures. This role requires flexibility to work additional hours during weekdays and occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components on a production line, adhering to manufacturing policies and procedures.

• Participate in training sessions for soldering, injection molding, electro-mechanical assembly, and other related operations.

• Assist with basic tasks until fully trained and proficient.

• Collaborate in a team environment, rotating through different stations each day.

• Perform tasks that require sitting and standing for long periods, with occasional lifting of 25-50 lbs.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude and experience with assembly processes.

• Proficiency in using hand tools and the ability to work off blueprints.

• Basic English proficiency for reading process documents and communicating with peers and leads.

• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience, ideally in mechanical or electrical assembly.

• Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Comfort with wearing a smock, gloves, and shoe covers in an industrial environment.

• Familiarity with power tools, schematic reading, wiring, soldering, and injection molding.

• Willingness to commit to the position for a minimum of 3 months, with the potential for extension or permanency.

Work Environment

Work in a mixed-use facility featuring a large room with various assembly stations, machines, a warehouse, and R&D labs. The environment is slightly industrial, and requires adherence to safety protocols including wearing appropriate attire such as smocks and gloves.

This is a Contract position based out of Rohnert Park, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
