About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Days Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active RN License (ND or Compact) Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Minimum of 1 year recent medical surgical nursing experience in a large hospital setting. Travel nursing experience including successful completion. Level 1 trauma experience. Willing to float to all units/locations as needed per job request. EPIC experience. Strong medical surgical experience. Description: The position requires a minimum of 2 years recent medical surgical experience. Experience with neuro patients is preferred but not required. Candidates should have experience working in a large hospital with 200+ beds. General job duties include assessments, documentation, completing nursing tasks, and medication administration. The primary unit is made up of a 32-bed capacity. The nurse to patient ratio is 4-5:1 on day shift and 6:1 on night shift. All clinicians must badge in and out of the facility. Scrub color is navy blue. Candidates should note if they have ever worked for the organization. Floating to other units/departments is required. Schedules may vary between three weeks of days and three weeks of nights, based on unit needs. The facility expects clinicians to balance their schedules without frequent shifts from days to nights. Candidates should also have the required certifications for the role.
