We're seeking an exceptional sous chef to be a part of the opening team of a new bar and restaurant in Greenwich Village.Our newest concept is an ambitious yet approachable neighborhood destination inspired by iconic American restaurants and bars, reimagined for today. It will be energetic, chic without a drop of pretension, and built around thoughtful food, outstanding drinks, warm service, and a room that feels as though it has always belonged.
Ideal candidates:
-Scratch cooking, Butchery, Sauce, Ordering, Expediting
-Should be a great line cook.
-Should have pedigree in good restaurants
-have great drive and passion for hospitality
-are expert communication, organizational and problem solving skills
-possess a positive and collaborative attitude
-are reliable team players
-are always ready for a challenge and to constantly learn and improve
-have experience with a high level of restaurant service, ingredients and techniques
-good prep and line instincts a plus.
-would like to work with a positive, highly skilled team
