We are seeking an ambitious, motivated Sales Representative to join our showroom team and play an important role in establishing and growing the company's presence in the area.

The company specializes in high-end, custom products for residential and commercial properties , providing customers with premium products and customized solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants more than a traditional sales position. Because this is a new local location for an established company , the individuals who join the team now will have the opportunity to grow with the business and take on increasing responsibility as the operation expands.

The Position

This is a showroom-based sales position . You will work directly with customers who visit the showroom to explore options for their residential or commercial projects.

You will be responsible for:

• Greeting and engaging showroom customers
• Understanding customer needs, preferences and project requirements
• Educating customers about available products and options
• Helping customers select appropriate materials, styles and solutions
• Preparing and presenting proposals
• Developing strong customer relationships
• Following up with customers throughout the sales process
• Managing sales opportunities from initial consultation through closing
• Maintaining a professional and welcoming showroom environment
• Meeting or exceeding established sales goals

This is not a cold-calling or door-to-door sales position. You will be working with customers who have expressed interest in the company's products and services.

Prior sales experience is not required for the right candidate. Experience in retail sales, customer service, hospitality or other customer-facing environments may be beneficial.

A college degree or college experience is preferred, but candidates will be evaluated based on their skills, experience, communication ability, motivation and potential , not simply their educational background.

$30 / hr. to start (+ commissions)

*3 weeks training in New Jersey required. Training is paid as well as all expenses.
