Medical ReceptionistWe are a busy Dermatology practice in Colchester, Vermont seeking a motivated, enthusiastic Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant to join our team in our Rutland, VT location.The ideal candidate would have at least one year experience in a medical office with a mixture of clinical knowledge and administrative knowledge.Job DescriptionGreeting patients for check-in, check-out and answering phones.Posting payments.Demographic and insurance entry/edit.Appointment scheduling.Medical records, processing referrals and any other duties assigned.Maintaining a clean, neat and hygienic work area.Ensure accurate documentation in chart according to office protocols.Accurate documentation and attention to detailQualificationsExcellent communication skills in person and on the phone.Must be friendly, professional and well organized with attention to detail.Customer service 1 year (preferred)EHR experience 1 year (preferred)Job Type:Full-time: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 7:30am-4:30pm. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:30am-3:30pmEducation:High school diploma or equivalent requiredAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
