Harmony Hospice administrative volunteer position

Position Summary

Harmony Hospice is currently seeking professional, dependable, and compassionate Administrative Volunteers to provide clerical and office support within our Beachwood office.

Volunteer Responsibilities

Administrative volunteer responsibilities may include:

• Filing and organizing confidential documents
• Assisting with data entry and general clerical tasks
• Preparing informational and admission packets for hospice patients and families
• Answering and directing incoming phone calls professionally
• Mailing bereavement literature and support materials to families
• Organizing hospice supplies, office materials, and administrative resources
• Conducting check-in calls with patients and family members
• Assisting with additional administrative and office support projects as needed

Qualifications

Qualified volunteers should possess:

• Availability and skills relevant to the assigned volunteer activities
• The ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently while following directions effectively
• A compassionate, dependable, and service-oriented attitude

Time Commitment

Volunteer schedules are flexible within standard office hours.

Administrative volunteers must be available to volunteer between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Scheduling may be arranged based on individual availability within those hours.
