Make a difference in the lives of young learners as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher, supporting children ages 3-5. This contract position near New Braunfels, TX, provides an opportunity to foster growth and learning in a collaborative school environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Generalist certification required
• Experience working with early childhood populations, preferably ages 3-5
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and inclusive teaching practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working closely with students, families, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to meet students’ diverse learning needs
• Assess, track, and document student progress toward IEP goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to provide integrated services
• Foster a safe and nurturing classroom environment where every child can thrive
• Maintain open communication with families, providing regular updates on student progress and development
• Attend IEP meetings and participate in ongoing professional development
