Job Title: PICU Registered Nurse

Location: Charlottesville, VA

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 2196.25 - 2306.06

Schedule: 07:00 - 19:00 (Rotating)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: BLS; PALS; Peds cardiac experience a plus; VA license pending; must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays; may be required to float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs; unable to approve time off first 2 weeks of contract

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized care to pediatric patients in the PICU setting during night shifts.
• Rotating schedule with work 2 out of 3 winter holidays and three weekends per six-week cycle.
• Float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics as needed based on staffing requirements.
• Ensure compliance with BLS and PALS standards and utilize pediatric cardiac experience if applicable.
• Maintain patient safety and deliver high-quality nursing care throughout each shift.
