Director of Contracts

Prometheus Group is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for the negotiation and management of the company’s customer contracts. This position will provide an opportunity to join a successful, rapidly growing software company that is backed by some of the most reputable private equity firms in the world such as Advent, LGP, and Genstar. An ideal candidate will bring the skills and aptitude necessary to manage the increasing complexity of the company’s global operations driven by the company’s continued expansion. Success in this role will provide opportunities for increased levels of responsibility within the company. Responsibilities Negotiating and managing the Company’s customer contracts, including software license agreements, professional services contracts, and subscription agreements Negotiating and managing other corporate contracts, including reseller/referral agreements Building infrastructure to support the Company’s growth, including the creation of standardized negotiation guidelines and documentation of contract terms in the Company’s CRM system (salesforce) Managing the contract execution process Supporting the Company’s sales function, including assisting with RFP responses, completing vendor registration forms, and reviewing NDAs Providing other legal support and review as needed, including vendor contracts and real estate leases Working closely with other departments within the Company Assisting with other critical projects as needed Requirements Juris Doctor required NC Bar licensed or actively waiving in A minimum of 7 years of legal and/or contract negotiation experience required with demonstrated progression in the scope of responsibilities Prior experience working in the software industry and/or working with software companies preferred Private equity portfolio experience preferred Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines Benefits Overview We offer an attractive benefits program to meet the diverse needs of our teammates: Employee base HSA plan, dental, life and short-term disability coverage 100% paid for by Prometheus Group HSA & FSA plan options Retirement Savings with Generous Company Match & Immediate Vesting Gym membership to O2 Fitness Casual dress attire Half-Day Fridays Generous Paid Time Off Company Outings, Trips & Activities Prometheus Group is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affi­mative Action employer.
