About the Position

Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 25 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30); Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2.5 years of recent adult medical/surgical critical care RN experience preferred. License: California RN License Certifications: BSN, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Candidates must have the ability to float to other facilities and departments. Experience with the following specialties/devices: ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters is required. This is a float pool position, not unit-based. Description: This role requires significant experience in intensive care nursing. Candidates will float to all critical care units and emergency departments. Candidates must be prepared to rotate shifts as operational needs dictate. Daily patient ratios will be 2:1. The position includes collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams. Demonstrated proficiency in accessing and managing specialized devices is necessary. Experience in various critical care settings is preferred. Flexibility in scheduling and job responsibilities is expected. All travelers must have essential certifications in critical care nursing. Candidates should be adaptable, willing to learn, and engage in continuous improvement.
