About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 25 weeks Shift: Day/Night Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience preferred, 2.5 years preferred. License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Ability to float to various departments and facilities. - Experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters. Description: This is a float pool position requiring the ability to adapt to different environments. Registered Nurses will be assigned to various critical care units as needed. Candidates must have experience with advanced critical care devices. RNs may float to acute care, telemetry, and transitional care units with a patient ratio of 3:1 assignment. The role demands excellent clinical skills in critical care nursing. Experience with a variety of critical care settings is preferred. Attendance and participation in 24 hours of orientation and ongoing training is required. Travel nurses are welcomed and will have the same responsibilities and expectations. Candidates must provide references from recent employers. Floating to different departments may occur based on operational needs. This position requires a collaborative approach, working with interdisciplinary teams. Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic work environment, handling a diverse patient population. Additional patient care responsibilities will include monitoring, assessment, and intervention. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong foundation in critical thinking and decision-making skills.
