Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Full-Time Opportunity Company: Cape Heritage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Sandwich Up to $40 an hour with weekly pay. We are hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic care team! As a PTA, you will assist in the provision, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist. Education & Experience Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program CEU's per state licensure requirements Must possess a PTA license in the state, or be in the process of obtaining one New graduates welcome! Duties & Responsibilities May perform additional assigned administrative duties as assigned by the Rehab Program Manager Under a physician's order provides direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care Contributes to the team meeting and decision-making process as defined by the program Consults with and trains patients, residents, and caregivers Monitors efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor Documents activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations Participates in clinical program development and implementation Demonstrates ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field May perform additional duties as requested by supervisor Participates in quality improvement activities Specific Requirements Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers Strong oral and written communication skills Strong organizational and analytical skills Standing and walking for significant amounts of time is necessary Communication skills needed for directing staff, customer relations, marketing activities Ability to perform documentation needs, manipulations of equipment, and direct patient care Requires intense attention and concentration Ability to cope with periodic stress associated with changing census and staffing demands Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time effectively for self and others Ability to deal with a wide range of personality types, ages, and diverse cultural backgrounds Ability to articulate and comprehend the English language What we offer Competitive and Weekly Pay Holiday Pay for Hourly and Salaried Employees Overtime Pay for Hourly Employees Career Advancement Opportunities Exclusive Employer Discount Program Available for Eligible Team Members Employer-Paid Life Insurance 401(k) with Employer Match Vacation and Personal Time Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance We are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
