Data Solutions Architect
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance data solutions using Teradata technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and IT teams to deliver robust data platforms that support decision-making across the enterprise.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in Teradata solutions
- Strong background in Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) concepts, dimensional modeling, and performance tuning
- Proficiency in Teradata tools and utilities (TPT, BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad)
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with ETL tools (Informatica, SAS DI)
- Hands-on coding experience in Python or similar scripting languages
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid architectures
- Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) and data governance frameworks
- Familiarity with Teradata Vantage features like QueryGrid, NOS, and ClearScape Analytics
- Teradata Certified Professional (preferred)
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of enterprise data warehouse solutions using Teradata
- Develop integration strategies and performance optimization techniques
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards and best practices
- Oversee ETL/ELT processes and data migration strategies
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Implement best practices for data lifecycle management and metadata governance
