Senior Consultant - Industrial Goods

Responsibilities Executes exciting project opportunities with Fortune 500 companies across sectors within the broader Industrial Goods market including Energy, Industrial Equipment, Specialty Vehicles, Construction, Building Equipment and more. We serve a breadth of companies that keep critical infrastructure and operations of global companies running. Owns and drives individual work streams during client engagements, i.e. performing value stream analysis, identifying and quantifying improvement opportunities, defining target state operations (Processes, tools, roles, governance), creating and executing implementation plans, upskilling client team members Support work scope across core value chain of product businesses, eg, from design to delivery Analyzes current situation and develops clear understanding and critical perspective of underlying root causes Evaluate current situation and improvement opportunities from an operational and financial value perspective Facilitate workshops with client stakeholders across levels and functions Independently develops and implements project concepts and final deliverables Supports the management and responsible parties of the project Serves as liaison to client management team and project team Supports business development by creating and presenting exceptional project proposals with direct support of leadership team Provides ongoing project feedback and other development support to Porsche Consulting team members Required Qualifications Bachelors' degree from renowned institutions of higher education, and demonstrated high academic track record 7 years of totally relevant professional experience; or minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in conjunction with a graduate degree Experience working with Industrial Goods companies in one or more market sectors Competence in developing complex financial models, i.e. business case calculations Progressive experience in project management roles and proven track record delivering projects Experience with development and implementation of strategic initiatives or transformation programs High level of business acumen and consultative expertise Comfort in working in environments with a high degree of ambiguity and having the ability to define and independently drive towards clear objectives Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research Flexibility and willingness to travel up to 80% Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to structure large amounts of data into a clear narrative while driving appropriate focus on key elements and leading towards a defined outcome or recommendation Experience facilitating workshops and presenting structured communications to senior management and executive audiences Proficient computer skills with MS Office applications Strong desire to mentor and assist in the professional development of colleagues Preferred Qualifications MBA or graduate degree from renowned institutions of higher education Second language fluency in German, Spanish, or French a plus Hands‑on production, logistics, supply chain management, planning or product development experience What We Offer A lucrative compensation package Comprehensive benefits (medical, vision, and dental) Employee Savings Plan 401(k) Holidays, Sick Time & Vacation time Educational Assistance Employee Car Lease Program (PAL Program), Employee Discounts and Health Club Membership Discounts Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Porsche Consulting, Inc.
