Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Loan Officer role based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, with flexibility for some work from home. The Loan Officer will guide clients through the mortgage process, from initial inquiry to closing, explaining loan options, interest rates, and terms in a clear and accessible way. Daily responsibilities include originating and structuring residential mortgage loans, collecting and reviewing borrower documentation, and working closely with underwriting, processing, and closing teams to move files efficiently through the pipeline. The role involves maintaining regular contact with clients, real estate agents, and other partners, providing timely updates and proactive problem-solving to keep loans on track. The Loan Officer will also be responsible for building and managing a personal pipeline through referrals, networking, and local market outreach while adhering to all regulatory and company compliance standards. Qualifications Experience in loan origination and working as a Loan Officer, including managing a pipeline of residential mortgage loans. Solid understanding of finance principles relevant to mortgage lending, including interest rates, debt-to-income ratios, and credit risk. Familiarity with underwriting guidelines and documentation requirements, with the ability to collaborate effectively with underwriters. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build trust, explain complex information clearly, and maintain long-term client relationships. Knowledge of loan origination systems (LOS), CRM tools, and standard office software. Proven ability to work in a goal-driven environment, meeting or exceeding production and quality targets. Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. Current mortgage loan originator license (NMLS) in California; additional state licenses are a plus. Previous experience in residential mortgage lending or a related financial services role; bilingual skills are a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
