Job Details\n \n Specialty: Labor & Delivery RN \n Location: Seattle, Washington 98122 \n Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Job \n Start Date: October 5, 2026 \n End Date: April 5, 2027 \n Duration: 26 weeks \n Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts \n Hours per Week: 36 \n Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,110 - $2,220 \n Schedule Highlights: Weekend and holiday coverage as needed; floating may be required to postpartum and antepartum units \n Unit Setting: High-risk, high-volume Labor & Delivery unit \n Labor & Delivery RN Requirements\n \n Minimum of 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience required; 5 years of high-risk obstetric experience is strongly preferred \n Experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced maternity care environment required \n Current compact RN license in hand at time of submission \n Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required \n Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required \n Epic charting experience required \n Current supervisory references and proof of required certifications must be available \n Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare setting \n Responsibilities\n \n Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in a busy Labor & Delivery environment \n Function as a baby nurse during delivery and continue newborn care until transfer to postpartum \n Circulate for cesarean sections and support a wide variety of obstetric procedures \n Perform newborn assessments, including eyes, thighs, and newborn medication support \n Monitor fetal status and assist with electronic fetal monitoring according to unit standards \n Support high-risk deliveries, vaginal births, and recovery care following cesarean delivery \n Float as needed to postpartum and antepartum units and provide support to sister units when appropriate \n Administer and monitor medications and treatments such as magnesium sulfate, insulin, and heparin per protocol \n Deliver compassionate, family-centered maternity care while maintaining strong clinical judgment and attention to detail \n \n Apply now for this exciting Seattle travel nursing opportunity and join a dedicated Labor & Delivery healthcare team today.
