This role involves managing high-risk obstetric patients and providing postpartum treatment following delivery. Candidates should be equipped to handle a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels. You will be expected to support patients through a census surge and manage multiple couplets effectively. Float requirements include flexibility to assist in postpartum and labor and delivery areas as needed. The role requires proficiency in administering medications and treatments such as Pitocin and magnesium sulfate. Experience with EPIC charting is essential for this position. The schedule includes weekend shifts within the contract duration. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. This assignment aims to uphold high standards in maternal and newborn health services.
