AbouttheRole
TheAssistantProjectManagerisresponsibleforassistingtheprojectmanager(s)intheplanning,managementdirection,projectcompletion,clientsatisfaction,andfinancialoutcomeofassignedconstructionprojects.TheAssistantProjectManagerwillberequiredtoassistprojectmanager(s)incoordinatingallcontractualrequirements,designdrawings,andprojectspecifications.
Responsibilities
- Projectsetup.
- IssueCertificateofInsurance,Permit,andPerformance/PaymentBondifapplicableforeachproject.
- Readandunderstandtheprojectcontractandprojectspecifications.
- Develop,update,andmonitorthePurchase & DeliveryScheduleforeachproject.
- Createbuyoutsfromprojectutilizingplans,specsanddocumentsfromestimating.
- Maintainaworkingsetofcontractdocuments(i.e.incorporateallbulletins,ASI ' sandsuchwithintheoriginaldocuments)sothatallinformationiscurrent.
- Assisttheprojectmanagerinpricingchangeorders,thencreatechangeorderwithinTimberlinesystemandsendtoGC/Ownerforapproval.
- IssueRFI' s,generatedbyprojectmanager,throughtheTimberline(T/L)systemandinternalfoldersystem.TrackresponsesthroughT/Lsystemandkeeptrackiftheresponsesarepotentialchangeorders.
- UpdateallinformationusingourFTPsite,otherresources(Procore,BlueBeam,ShareFile,PlanGrid)etc.toensuretheprojectforemanhasaccesstoreal - timeupdatedinformationonallRFI 's,submittals,&contractdocuments.
- Assistfieldteammemberswithanyrequeststheymayhaveorrequireforefficiency.
- RequestandassembleallO & Mmanualsfromcorrespondingvendorfromwhomwepurchasedtheequipment.
- Requestvalvetagchartsandas - builtsfromprojectforemanbeforeprojectcompletion.
- Preparethefinalcloseoutdocumentspertheproject ' sspecificationsandsubmittotheGC/Owner.
- Assistprojectmanagerwithmonthlyclose,confirmallchangeordersareenteredinTimberline,andconfirmallsubsinvoicesreceivedforeachjobforthecurrentmonth.
- PrepareandprintrequireddocumentsformonthlyCTCmeetings.

Toperformthisjobsuccessfully,anindividualmustbeabletoperformeachessentialdutysatisfactorily.Therequirementslistedbelowarerepresentativeoftheknowledge,skill,and/orabilityrequired.Reasonableaccommodationsmaybemadetoenableindividualswithdisabilitiestoperformtheessentialfunctions.
- Adegreeinconstructionmanagementorrelevantexperience.
- ComputerSkills:Toperformthisjobsuccessfully,anindividualshouldhavemid - levelexperienceforworkingwithExcel,MicrosoftWordandBluebeam.ExperiencewithProcoreandSageishelpful.
- OtherSkillsandAbilities:MustbeaTEAMplayer,abletocommunicateandcollaboratewithteammates.
- Provenabilitytomanagemultipleprojects/activitiesinadynamicfast -pacedenvironment.
- Abletoworkindependently.
