Assistant Project Manager

We are a specialized subcontracting firm seeking a detail and process-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our Commercial projects team. As the Assistant Project Manager you will play an important role in assisting the commercial projects team to ensure that our niche scope is executed to the highest quality standards, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining relationships with key clients. Key Responsibilities Submittals and Shop Drawings: Manage submittal process life cycle ensuring that all technical specifications and design criteria are met and are completed within necessary timeframes. RFI Coordination: Draft, submit, and track RFI’s to clarify information as necessary such as plan or specification ambiguities or omissions. Material Procurement: Ensure materials are approved, ordered, and delivered in accordance with project schedule requirements with special attention paid to long‑lead items. Populate and maintain the procurement log regularly to coordinate deliveries and avoid job site delays. Qualifications Experience: 1-3 years in construction management Education: College Degree preferred, especially in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. We strongly value equivalent practical experience and will consider candidates who can demonstrate success in similar roles regardless of education background. Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.), Procore, Teams, working Knowledge of Scheduling software, Adobe, Bluebeam, Strong Written and Oral communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr SSG Pools & Spas, Inc.
