Role Description The Construction Specialist is a part-time, remote role responsible for supporting construction projects through technical, administrative, and coordination tasks. On a day-to-day basis, this role may review project plans and architectural drawings, assist with budgeting and cost tracking, and prepare documentation using Microsoft Office tools. The Construction Specialist will help monitor project progress, support inspection preparation by organizing reports and checklists, and communicate with project stakeholders to clarify requirements and timelines. This role may also involve compiling data for compliance and quality control, identifying potential risks or discrepancies in plans or budgets, and providing recommendations to improve project efficiency.
Qualifications

• Construction and Inspection skills to understand project workflows, review site-related documentation, and support quality and compliance efforts.
• Architecture and Construction knowledge to interpret drawings, plans, and specifications and provide practical input on feasibility and design-related considerations.
• Budgeting skills to assist with cost estimation, expense tracking, and reporting for construction projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to create reports, manage spreadsheets, and prepare presentations and project documentation.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and maintain accurate records.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients in a remote environment.
• Knowledge of construction standards, safety practices, and basic regulatory requirements; experience with construction management or related software is a plus. xhyhwjd
• Relevant education or training in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
