Commercial Litigation Associate - Construction

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its Construction Litigation practice in Los Angeles, CA. This position is open to candidates throughout California and involves high‑stakes litigation in multimillion‑dollar construction disputes, complex business contract claims, and statutory enforcement issues. Duties Represent owners, developers, contractors, and design professionals. Handle all phases of litigation, including motions, discovery, depositions, and hearings. Work on cases in state and federal court, as well as international arbitration. Take on meaningful responsibility early, with mentorship and training available. Requirements Strong commercial litigation skills; construction experience preferred but not required. Excellent writing, analytical, and communication abilities. Technical or engineering background is a plus. Licensed in California and in good standing; statewide applicants encouraged. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in California. Skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
