Encompass Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a travel assignment with one of our valued acute care clients in Lancaster, California .

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled ER RN who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment while expanding their professional experience in Southern California.

The ideal candidate will have strong emergency nursing experience, including previous experience in Level I or Level II Trauma facilities , and must be comfortable caring for a diverse patient population across the lifespan, including newborns, infants, toddlers, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Current California RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and MAB/CPI certifications required (including proof of hands-on training)
• Current NIHSS certification required (renewed annually)
• Recent experience in a high-acuity acute care setting required
• Previous Level I or Level II Trauma experience required
